KEIRA Knightley’s wig in her new 18th century flick The Duchess was so heavy she had to have a resting post specially made for her to lean on in between takes!

Keira plays scandalous aristocrat Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, opposite RALPH FIENNES in the upcoming movie.

She had to wear a sky-high Marie Antoinette-type wig for several key scenes.

Co-star HAYLEY ATWELL said that Keira found the wig too heavy for her delicate head and neck.

Hayley, in LA to promote her new movie Brideshead Revisited, said: “I loved filming The Duchess. Keira has a great sense of humour – she’s really funny.

“She had to wear this huge wig that was so heavy. They made her a special board that she could lean her shoulders and head against in between takes so she didn’t topple over or get neck ache! It was funny.”

Can't wait! Keira Knightley will have the September cover of Vogue - a great big, fat fashion issue nonetheless.

Be sure to grab copies up as soon as they hit the newstand. Covers are usually granted to models/actors based upon how many issues their previous covers have sold.

So, the more issues we buy, the more covers Keira will get? Savy?

I added a gallery of pics of Keira at the Edge of Love Photocall & Premiere in Scotland (June 18, 2008). Sienna's in most of them and Keira's lovely mom is in a few (she looks so pretty!)

Again, I'm really sorry about the period of time that I couldn't update. Moving to the new, bigger server has taken care of the problems we had - so we're good to go. In other words, we'll be back to our daily updates!

Gorgeous Sienna Miller has said that she was happy to share intimate scenes with the also gorgeous Keira Knightley in the movie The Edge Of Love. She said she wasn't afraid of the lesbian cliches.

The movie was based on the life of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, where Sienna played the role of Caitlin MacNamara and was required to share baths, a bed, and flirtty looks with Knightley.

"I think people were hoping for a lot more than you get. We'd have the odd snog together. It wasn't all the time, but you know, who hasn't dabbled?" Contactmusic quoted her as saying. "I think Caitlin was quite a sexual person, and I know that she did, well, dabble a bit. And besides, female friendships can often be tactile and intimate," she added.

The Best Kisser?

"The Edge of Love" co-stars seem to be having a lot of fun working together.

Matthew Rhys playfully claims he is a better kisser than Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley. The actor got a chance to kiss both the beautiful actresses while working on the movie

When asked who was the best kisser in the movie, Matthew said, “Me of course! We decided that by referendum. It came out unanimous.”

Although rumor had it that real love developed on the set with Sienna, Matthew denies it. In fact, he says he'd NEVER date a co-star.

He said: "There has been a lot more speculation about the whole thing than actual fact.

"On set romances are the worst idea in the world. You get caught up in the microcosm of filming, especially if you're playing romantic parts, and I'm only speaking from my own experience here, but it never really pans out afterwards."

Does he seem like one of the smartest, most well-spoken actors in the world, or what?!

Keira Jokes About Her Love Scenes - Written By Her Mom!

WENN reports that Keira Knightley wasn't at all shocked when she was asked to film a steamy sex scene. The thing is, this wasn't just any sex scene - it was written by her mother! Awkward, much?

The scene was, of course, for The Edge of Love, which was written by her mother, Sharman Macdonald. Keira has taken a humorous apporach to it, as she does a lot of things in life.

"She dared to put a sex scene in it. It didn't worry me that my mother knows what sex is,” she teased. “I had no hissy fits when she presented me with the scene."

So when Sharman Macdonald presented a script which called for her daughter to act in the nude and have a hot sex scene, Knightley was unfazed.

She jokes: “I was found under an apple tree. My mother is a virgin.”

Gotta love her!

Paparazzi pain for Sienna and Keira

Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller have spoken of the lengths that paparazzi went to for shots of them as they filmed The Edge of Love.

The film - about the relationship between two free-spirited women who are both loved by poet Dylan Thomas - had photographers permanently stalking them on location.

"In one of the scenes we couldn't use any of the sound because all you can here is clicking" - Keira KnightleyKnightley recalled: "We had one falling out of a tree, adding: "In one of the scenes we couldn't use any of the sound because all you can here is clicking.

"There was a point when there were more photographers than crew and cast making the film, which is extraordinary."

Directory John Maybury said that at one point, a boat full of paparazzi snapping the stars started sinking and emergency services had to be called.

Their Irish co-star Cillian Murphy has previously spoken of how the women were stalked by photographers during filming, saying: "I totally admire them for putting up with it - if I walked out of my house every morning and there were 15 men waiting to photograph me, I couldn't do it."

Meanwhile, much has been made in the press of Miller an Knightley's friendship, both on and off screen. The two have frequently been photographed laughing side-by-side on set and in public and Miller has spoken about the pair's new-found chumminess.

Asked whether her friendship with her co-star helped the portrayal of the intense relationship between their characters, Miller said, "I think inevitably it did but you know, you meet people and you click and we just always got along really well and are similar in a lot of ways."

She added: "And it's really nice to have someone who does the same thing and to be able to do scenes with another woman, I mean it's really rare that you have two strong female characters and, yeah, it's been great."
