à Keira Was a Little Embarassed by Pirates at First / Date: 6 May 2008 / Author: Joi
When she first signed on to do The Pirates of the Caribbean, Keira Knightley says she was somewhat embarassed because the movie was based on the famous attraction at Disneyland in California.

Keira, of course, had no idea the movie was going to be SO hugely popular and admits she even felt ashamed to be connected to what she feared would be a flop.

"Gosh, I was just a teenager and you can imagine it was the most embarrassing thing telling my mates I was about to be in a movie based on a Disney theme park ride.

"I mean it was really f**king embarrassing and we all thought it was going to be total s**t anyway.

"But then suddenly I was kissing Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom and bang, there you go, instant bloody stardom."

Instant Bloody Stardom. Love her!
à Keira's Pout! / Date: 6 May 2008 / Author: Joi
Keira apparently doesn't like her beautiful pout (the one the rest of the world has fallen in love with!).

She recently said: "The pout means I'm being c**p, like my face is frozen in this one look of surprise, and that's hardly helpful for conveying complex emotions. I think I was really pouty when I was 16 or 17 and that's when my first films came out, and it's sort of stuck.

"When I'm nervous my neck gets really, really tense and then that pressure sort of squeezes up to my lips and they push out and well, there you go, that's the pout."

She went on to say: "Since my first films, like 'Bend it like Beckham', I've always been looking to be stretched - it doesn't always mean I'm going to be good, but I'm trying to be a good actress, I really am."

I hope she realizes that she's an amazing actress! Her performances in Pride and Prejudice, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and Atonement certainly proved that.
