Keira Knightley, as you know, won the role of Eliza Doolittle in a new film adaptation of “My Fair Lady.”

Joe Wright will direct the much-anticipated movie. Wright worked with Keira in “Pride & Prejudice” and “Atonement.” He’s obviously one of the best directors in the business.

Academy Award-winner Emma Thompson (Sense and Sensibility) is writing the screenplay.

This is really exciting, too: Daniel Craig is now being mentioned as a possibility to play Professor Henry Higgins! Daniel Craig and Keira Knightley on screen at the same time… makes my knees weak!

Keira Knightley is set to star in a play on London’s West End!

She has landed the lead role in a modern version of Moliere’s 17th century comedy The Misanthrope.

Keira, 24, will play a vacuous Hollywood film star who seduces a disillusioned playwright. She will star alongside British actors Damian Lewis and Tara Fitzgerald.

The production — which will run at the British capital’s Comedy Theatre from December 17 until March 13 — will be directed by Thea Sharrock whose credits include the West production of Equus, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths.

“It’s not a whim on her part. She’s absolutely ready to come into this vulnerable position,” Sharrock said of Knightley.

“I’m interested in working with her, to push her in a way that I don’t think she has been pushed before because although she has worked with amazing directors, film doesn’t work like that.”

Keira Knightley is said to be “terrified but excited” about the play and has been taking voice and singing lessons to prepare for the role.

The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of the Suicide Brothers starring Tom Mison, Rupert Friend, and Keira Knightley is getting a lot of attention online.  The release date is supposed to be October 17, 2009 – hopefully Keria and Rupert’s fans will have a chance to see what sounds like an amazing film.

Synopsis: Everyday at two o’clock the two brothers named Bourbon and Barath go out to the shed to kill themselves. They try a different method everyday but each day they fail. They are forever overlooking the presence of their frustrated fairy godmother (Keira) as they carry on with their clockwork routine.
