Keira Knightley on the Town and Looking Gorgoeus

Keira Knightley was spotted (and thankfully photographed!) in London’s West End Tuesday night, February 23.

She looked fresh-faced and gorgeous as always in a killer coat and ridiculously beautiful scarf.

Sadly, Johnny Depp recently confirmed what we pretty much already knew: Keira won’t be returning for the next Pirates move.

Johnny Depp told press that neither Keira Knightley nor Orlando Bloom will be on board for the highly anticipated POTC 4. “We’re coming at it from a different angle at this point, Rob Marshall and [a] totally new take, it’s a new story. I don’t think we’d ever throw too much Jack Sparrow in there. There will be a little bit of everybody.”

Keira Knightley is the Fairest of them All

According to a new British survey, Keira Knightley took the crown for the prettiest face with 18 per cent of both men and women putting her top of the list, while ‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston secured 17 per cent of the votes.

Keira Knightley Felt Threatened

Keira Knightley felt threatened by a particular man, who would turn up regularly outside of the theatre, and reported him to police.

According to reports, the man would regularly wait outside a stage door at the Comedy Theatre, where the actress is performing in The Misanthrope.

The 41-year-old man was apprehended outside the venue and taken into custody Thursday.

“Keira felt threatened by this guy who turned up a number of times and tried to speak to her. He did not make any specific threats to her but she was concerned enough to call the police,” said a source.

Added a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police, “A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of harassment on Thursday. The arrest follows concern expressed by a woman.”

Apparently, Keira picked up on some creepy vibes!

Keira Knightley talks to Elle in their March issue about criticism of her acting skills, the importance of honesty in her life, and her upcoming roles.

On her character in The Misanthrope:

“Jennifer’s kind of a crazy mix of being a complete bitch—confident and terrifying—yet she’s incredibly young and is probably being exploited way more than she actually realizes.”

On criticism of her acting skills:

“Oh, they still say that! Every time I do an interview with the English press, one of their questions is, ‘How do you feel knowing that everyone thinks you’re a s*** actress?’”

On surrounding herself with people who tell her the truth:

“You have to be selective about the people whose advice and opinions you take. I know [my parents] would never tell me I was s*** because they were trying to hurt me. It would always come from a very sincere place.”

On her other upcoming film “Last Night”:

“When we were making it, the arguments on set were just amazing about whether mental infidelity is better or worse than physical infidelity. There was a huge gender divide on the question. Every single woman said that mental infidelity is 10 times worse than [an emotionless assignation]. And most men I spoke with said that it’s the physical act that would be the ultimate betrayal.”

Will Last Night Ever Make it to the Screen?

The Walt Disney Company, which bought Miramax from the Weinstein brothers in 2005, has closed down the studio after 30 years in business.

Miramax was founded by brothers Bob and Harvey Weinstein back in 1979. It found success as an independent distribution and production outfit, before becoming part of the Disney empire in 1993. The company had huge success with hits such as Clerks and sex, lies and videotape, helped launch the outstanding career of Quentin Tarantino, and even earned Oscars with the movies such as The English Patient and Shakespeare in Love. The Weinstein brothers – who named the company after their parents Max and Miriam – quit to form the Weinstein Company in 2005.

The six Miramax pictures that are currently awaiting distribution – including Last Night, starring Keira Knightley – now face an uncertain future.
